Basic Uniform

Soccer player's basic uniform consists of:

• Jersey
• Shorts or pants
• Socks
• Shin guards
• Shoes/Cleats

• Jersey and Socks: Soccer jerseys and socks will be provided to players before the first game of the season. The cost of the jersey is included in the registration fee.  Individuals are responsible in providing their own shorts/pants and shin guards.

• Shoes: Shoes will generally be cleats and the referee will check the bottoms prior to the game to make certain that they do not have any sharp edges and are not dangerous.

We recommend purchasing soccer cleats instead of baseball/soccer cleats. Soccer cleats do not have a cleat on the front toe area of the shoe.

Sneakers and other closed toe athletic shoes are also allowed.

• Shin Guards: Shin guards should always be worn under soccer socks to help keep them in place.

• Cold Weather Gear: If game day is cold, please try to wear extra layers UNDER your jersey so players, referees, and fans can see the team colors.
