Player Safety

To all Marshall Area Soccer Kids coaches, volunteers, team managers and board members:

All coaches, board members, referees, team managers, administrators, independent contractors and employees (Participants) must comply with the federal Safe Sport Act of 2017, US Youth Soccer and the US Soccer Safe Sport and Prohibited Conduct Policies. Participant means any adult authorized by IYSA or a Local Affiliated Organization (League/club/team) to have regular contact with or authority over an amateur athlete who is a minor.

Illinois Youth Soccer has teamed up with SportsEngine to help keep kids safe with a streamlined safety program that includes industry-leading background screenings, Safe Sport Training and CDC Heads Up Concussion Training for all participants in your organization.  IYSA will be following the required National Council of Youth Sports (NCYS), US Soccer and US Youth Soccer screening criteria to determine participation.

Effective today, all participants in the organization must submit their background screening, Safe Sport Training and CDC Heads Up Concussion Training through the SportsEngine/NCSI link on the IYSA website.  IYSA will not accept any other search.

For any disputes regarding your passing or failing status, please contact NCSI at 866-996-7412.

Player's Health Protect

At MASK we strive to create a safe environment for all, free from abuse and misconduct. Player's Health is here to help achieve this mission. It can be a very stressful situation to be in when you are concerned about your own safety or the safety of someone else. Whether you are participating in sports, at home, online, in school, or anywhere for that matter, we all must be prepared to come forward to report any suspected abuse or misconduct. With Player's Health Protect, we give you a secure avenue to do just that. We encourage all sports programs, schools, and other organizations alike to implement the Player's Health Protect Policy and Procedures, sign the Player's Health Promise, and use the app to report abuse or file incidents.
